• Specific plots you'd like to see between your character and Lara.
• Stating what relationship you'd like your character to have with Lara (eg. friends, enemies, romantic, colleagues).
• Generally asking questions about Lara that may be relevant to a current/future plot.

If anyone she has history with wants to hammer that out, drop me a line. Same for anyone new.  I feel like she's a bit one dimensional at the moment so I'd love for her to get involved with something/someone that might compromise her neutrality or cause some conflict.  More info about her here

I have no Alfie plots, because he'd only know Lara through Les potentially and his knowledge of sirens is minimal at best.

But just to say when I'm officially back, I have a siren character I'd like to create and would probably like Lara to be involved with his backstory as she is matriarch - if you were interested of course 8)

Well, I'm hoping to use Jamie Dornan. He's a Siren Cove native, but he's been in a coma following a car accident for an undetermined amount of time (under a year) hence why he'd not been around. So he'll come into it by waking up. But I was perhaps going to have him have been a Heart of Gold employee, who quit to persue a relationship the significant other was killed in the accident is the current idea.

So they'd have known each other previously. And I guess he's alone now, so I don't know, maybe Lara visited him in hospital a few times or something.

Aww - bless him! And I like the idea. I'm assuming he'll be quite torn about coming back to Heart of Gold? If he comes back at all.

Well, I'm not quite sure what I'll do with him post recovery. I imagine he'll be not 100% physically for a while and mentally considerably longer. He'll definitely stick close to the town sirens though, so even if he didn't come back as an escort himself I can see him wanting to work within that bubble of familiarity.

Makes sense. How about if Lara pays his ongoing medical bills? Maybe she can find him somewhere to live when he wakes...or he could stay with her a while to recuperate. I think she'd feel obliged and would want to as the Matriarch anyway.

That'd be a pretty good dynamic, especially since I don't imagine he'd have a lot of money so even though all the required brain acitivity was there, questions would have been raised about switching him off.

No way Lara would let that happen to one of her sirens. Makes sense that she would be keen to keep him close after the fact.

Excellent, I love this dynamic already. I also like to imagine the car wreckage was found in a nearby forest by a witch (aka my NPC who is Alfie's boss) who is the only reason he made it to the hospital in the first place. Because it also explains my head cannon of why the guy wouldn't use magic anymore.

Um, well he's not coming in for a couple of weeks just because of my exams, uh. But I'm not too sure whether the first post should be him waking up, or I could have him unconscious for a post if you had anything you wanted to do with Lara. If she was telling someone about him or something. Feel free to mention him in passing at any time if you want as well, pretty certain he's going to be Owen Phillips unless anyone has objections.

I know we kind of set it up that Lara's known the girls probably since they moved in & that Riley's a bartender for her a few nights, but I just wanted to add Riley super admires and trusts Lara :3333 And maybe we can figure out what to do with the whole missing Jung parents thing lmfaooo

Yeeeeah - they've sort of fallen by the wayside a bit! What have you got in mind for their parents?

Okay, I talked with Julia. We're going to say her parents had to move their grandmother to a different country for treatments, but because of the curse and everything weird going on the past few weeks, their communication has been blocked and haven't been able to get ahold of each other. If Lara sends a siren to physically check on them, that siren will probably have a better chance of finding info.

Okay cool. How do you want to play it out? We can keep just mentioning it until you guys are ready to play it out fully later if you'd like?

I think he's got lots of potential. He's super powerful as well which isn't a bad thing. Maybe they could do a couple of development posts where he cocks up a meeting, maybe he over-reacts and spells them, and then makes up for it later? What did you have in mind?

Well at the moment she's running the bar and her guys/girls/misc. She's probably also dealing with the families and the fall out from the deaths but she's got business interests in other cities and towns with sirens so it's all very mafia (at least in my mind it is :P). She's negotiating with another siren enclave to make headway into New York (or somewhere) and maybe they show up for meeting and negotiations etc?? Something like that?

Ah! Okay, that's really cool. I really wanted to know more about her other business interests as that seems to be what Les would be assisting her with, so I just wanted to know like exactly what she does. I think that be really interesting for Les. He is powerful, but he isn't skilled (he doesn't practice he just has raw talent). So working with Lara may help him out there. Plus, if her business interests grows, and a deal goes south, maybe we could have some other sirens visit town in like a larger town-wide plot. Siren Cove always needs to be like under siege by something in my opinion.

That's what I was thinking. In the short term, it'd be good to just get him into some scrapes until he's got it pegged. And wider, maybe something like a bunch of rival sirens - maybe someone they cross somewhere down the road - come to town to try and mess with their peaceful little world.

I could totally dig if it is someone Lara and Les cross/piss off down the road. just to make things interesting.

Yeah totally. We can have them argue over some territory and they decide to anex Siren Cove. Or try to at least.

We definitely need to do some plotting with Corrine and Lara, given Lara's position as Siren Matriarch and Corrine's recent return after effectively rising to America's Sweetheart using her siren powers. She left 10 years ago, so right around the time Lara would have come into the role... maybe there was something more there to go into also.

Oooooh! Drama! How is she coming back? In disgrace or just coming back cos she's retired?

Oh, in much disgrace. Long story short, a lovelorn fan committed suicide (in front of her and lots of red carpet cameras) when he couldn't be with her and the guilt drove her to hard-partying and rehab. She just got out which is why she returned. The whole ordeal has been heavily covered in both tabloids and respectable publications, so its likely Lara has heard.

Oooh yes. Corrine's trying to stay out of the public eye and has always kept most details of Siren Cove a secret, but that doesn't mean the press won't eventually catch up to her here.

Maybe an enterprising young reporter finds out and follows her there or something? And then they have to figure out what to do with them on the quiet.

Oooh yes, that could be lots of fun. But before that point - would Corrine be expected to have some level of accountability to Lara for using her powers so irresponsibly to drive someone to suicide? And in general, what she plans to do now? I know she's expressed concern to Lou about what sort of reaction is in store for her.

Perhaps when Lara first took over as matriarch she warned against her plans? Or maybe when all this happened, Lara had made an effort to reach out? Personality wise I'm not sure what her most likely response would have been.

Well I think Lara would most likely have been upset about her leaving. I Think there would have been some major rows too. As to the aftermath Lara would have cut ties with her officially but privately she would have felt responsible so she probably would have reached out when shit went down.

This sounds perfect. I can see the upset, especially if it was just when Lara was taking on the reigns of matriarch it wouldn't have made for a smooth transition.

I think Lara probably did reach out and Corrine was so fucked up at that point she just wouldn't even hear of it, and just kind of ignored the attempt. Which probably adds to why she's rather terrified of the moment she comes across Lara now.

SO Daisy sells fabric/clothes to witches to make a living currently, but, given her past, I can see her applying to work as an escort at Heart of Gold, if that's okay with you?
