Lara packed her bag slowly. She didn't want to leave so soon after the cruise disaster and with whispers of secret councils running around the place it was just bad timing. But she'd promised Bonny that she would come and help with the integration of two enclaves months ago and the time had just run away with her. Les was more than capable of running the businesses and she was on the end of the phone if he needed her.

Levi had picked up Osha last night and she was probably frolicking happily in sand out back of his house and making a mess of his neat little place. That thought made her smile. She'd told him how much the dog loved the beach but she didn't think he'd believed her. Well, he'd find out how hard it was to get the big dog into a tub soon enough.

There was nothing left to do. Sighing she looked over her flight details and double checked her bags picking them up and locking up behind her as she went out to her taxi.

With a backwards glance, she headed out.
