Working 9-5...at the right job this time. (Open for everyone - aftermath of the Sirens Gone Wild)
Getting ready for work isn't normally such a chore, but today is Lara's first day back after the whole Evelyn stealing her powers debacle.
She'd changed three times already and finally settled on something comfortable and semi-casual. Osha had looked at her with the air of someone holding a portable safety net but Lara had gotten most of her nerves out of the way last night after the conversation with Levi. Thank god for him. She looked in on him sleeping in the next room. They needed to talk some more. There was too much to say in just one night.
Lara shut the door behind her after leaving him a note and headed to her car.

Watersong was the same as always. None of her human staff seemed to notice that anything had been amiss but as soon as she set foot in the door, Michael was on her. He didn't say much - he never did - but he hugged her tight and whispered "Welcome back, boss." in her ear before letting her go.
"I'll be in my office, clearing up this mess." She murmured and Michael nodded.
"I'll bring food and drinks." He said, smiling down at her before he headed off back to the kitchen.
Lara had never really figured Michael out and right now she didn't want to. She was just glad someone was happy to see her back where she belonged.
Her office was a bit of a mess. Dropping her bag on the couch, she headed to her desk and started sorting through the papers. Clearly Les had had a time of it in her absence and she frowned at that thought. So many people had had to deal with so much while she'd been...absent. She didn't know how she was going to repay them for the fact that she even had an Enclave to come back to.
