She lets out a squeal as she lands on his shoulder, hair flopping over her face and the wind whooshing out of her lungs. She takes a moment to catch her breath before realizing where she is, a rush of embarrassment hitting her like a particularly large wave.

"I meant to dunk you!" she squeaks, trying to wriggle out of his grip and back under the water where she can hide her shame. "I didn't realize I'd lose my balance!"
