"It doesn't sound like such a bad life," Spencer answers with an impish grin, though it doesn't take long before his expressions fades into something more sincere. He knows Joel is only teasing, that they both know this relationship is so far beyond the physical--and how could it not be when they've only just started having sex--that there's not even room for argument on it; but hearing Joel say the word, always, like there's no question, affects him more than he could ever verbally explain so he feels the need to make sure Joel hears it from him, too.

"I-- I'd do anything for you," he says softly, just barely audible for the upbeat music that the DJ is blasting, and he lowers his gaze so Joel can't see the flush rising to his cheeks. He isn't embarrassed to say it, he wouldn't have otherwise, but his feelings for Joel are so strong that sometimes he thinks they might knock him right over. It's the absolute truth, anything Joel asked of him, Spencer would do in a second. He's not going to deny that seeing his boyfriend strip naked under the moonlight isn't going to be an awfully good motivator to get in the water tonight but even if they hadn't arrived at this solution, Spencer knows he'd do it anyway.

He slides his hands up the back of Joel's shirt, tracing circles over his skin and his smile comes back easily as the rest of the party comes back into focus. He glances around, spotting Lara and Levi mingling with the rest of their guests, and gives a slight nod. "Yes, I'd have to agree. You and I getting naked together is the only real reason for people to celebrate. Cheers to us, really." He watches Joel down his whiskey then leans in to kiss him, slipping his tongue in the other man's mouth and moaning when he can still taste the alcohol. He grazes his teeth over Joel's bottom lip as he pulls back and lets out a little laugh. "How long did we need to stay again?"
