He stepped forward on silent feet and pulled out an ornate metal cylinder looking at Lara for permission. She nodded and he touched the metal to the skin of Bachs neck, reaching out to catch him as Bach fell, fast asleep.
Michael nodded and scooped Bach up into a firemans lift. "He's kind of a pain in the ass, isn't he?"
"Just...put him on the couch in my office." Lara said quietly. "Maybe he'll listen to reason when he wakes up."
Michael snorted. "Five'll get you ten he'll be just as sour."
